ISARP : Italy-South Africa Joint Research Programme Italy
The Italy-South Africa Joint Research Programme (ISARP) is the latest incarnation of the Executive Programme of Scientific and Technological Cooperation between Italy and South Africa, a collaborative initiative established to strengthen scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. This partnership, formalized through an agreement signed in January 1998 in Pretoria, has been active since 2000, facilitating numerous joint research projects and fostering the training of students and young researchers.
The RADIOMAP Joint Research Programme (2023-2025) fosters collaboration on SKA Science and Technology and builds upon the prevvious RADIOSKY2020 Joint Research Programme (2018-2022) and brings together tens of researchers and students from both countries.
The RADIOMAP programme is jointly led by Grazia Umana (INAF-OACt, Catania, Italy) & Mattia Vaccari (UCT, Cape Town, South Africa). Please get in touch if you need any further information!
