SMOG is a rough statistical model of some galaxy statistical properties (such as number counts, morphological classification, angular sizes, surface brightness profiles...) I developed in collaboration with Erik Høg as part of my Master's Thesis. A self-contained descriptions of SMOG is also available within the GAIA-CUO-104 technical report presented to ESA's GAIA Science Advisory Group in HTML and PDF format.
